Break Your Smartphone Addiction and Get Your Life Back
Your phone was supposed to be a tool.
Instead, it’s stealing your life. It’s something you check constantly. Something that interrupts your focus, your relationships, and your ability to enjoy your life.
This free course will show you exactly how to take back control.
“A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life.”
- Charles Darwin
This Might Sound Familiar
Do any of these apply to you?
You check your phone dozens or even hundreds of times a day
You reach for it within minutes of waking up
You let notifications interrupt conversations and focused work
You scroll whenever you have a free moment
You feel uncomfortable if your phone isn’t with you
If you said yes to even one of these, you may be addicted.
Smartphone addiction is now the most common behavioral addiction in the world.
Your Phone is Designed to be Addictive.
Variable rewards, dopamine loops, social validation, and endless novelty are all engineered to keep you coming back.
You’re up against systems built by thousands of engineers whose job is to capture your attention.
That’s why “just use your phone less” doesn’t work.
This goes far beyond wasted time.
Your Life
The average usage is 5 hours a day! That time could be spent doing things you actually enjoy.
Your Relationships
When your attention is on your phone, you’re not fully present with the people you’re with. That is hurtful and weakens your connections.
Your Mental State
Heavy smartphone use is linked to higher anxiety, lower focus, worse sleep, and constant low-level stress.
Your Potential
Every hour spent scrolling is an hour not spent building your life, pursuing your goals, or doing things that actually make you happy.
What is This Costing You?
What Happens When You Take Control of Your Phone
When people reduce phone use, they consistently report:
Feeling calmer and more focused
Sleeping better
Having better conversations and stronger relationships
Getting more done in less time
Rediscovering hobbies and activities they had abandoned
In one study, 91% of participants who blocked internet use on their phones reported feeling better, with improved well-being, mood and attention span.
This is what happens when your attention is no longer constantly hijacked.

About Happiful
Happiful is built around a simple philosophy:
Most personal development programs give you ideas.
We give you exact systems you can implement immediately to improve your life.
This course is one of those systems.
Hi, I'm Paul Mayer, Founder of Happiful.
I am passionate about helping people to break their smartphone addiction. I believe it’s one of the biggest and most pervasive problems in our lives today. It’s not just about wasted time. It’s about missing out on your life. Excessive, compulsive smartphone use harms your mental health, your relationships, your physical health, and your happiness.
I guarantee that you can take control of your phone. I keep all notifications off so I’m not constantly distracted and stressed. I don’t consume social media or news at all, preserving my time for productive activities, exercise, or enjoying my life. I don’t carry my phone with me unless I actually need it (which is rare).
We created this course because most people don’t realize how much their phone use is harming them, or they don’t know how to fix it. And to help the most people, we’ve made it free to everyone.
If you’re willing to make a few changes, you can take back your time, your attention, and your life.
- Paul
Take Back Control
You don’t need to eliminate your phone.
You just need to stop using it by default, and start using it with intention.
This course will show you exactly how to do that.
